About

Rooted in Renewal, Resilience, and Joy

I am passionate about resourcing myself, my clients, my family, and my friends, with tools that allow us to:

  • Reframe challenges
  • Accentuate Joy
  • Rekindle our stories, imagination, and dreams
  • Dance with life’s ups and downs
  • Transform anxiety through play

Called by my Celtic ancestors in a deeply mystical and personal experience on Inis Mór, February 1997, I am gifted in creating ceremony and ritual as tools for personal and community transformation. My life path invites me to explore this call and implores me to embody it in my work and personal life.

As an ordained interfaith priestess, who is informed by the cycles and spirit of the seasons, I believe it is a birthright for everyone to access meaningful ceremony that sustains well-being. This work includes supporting clients in discerning their unique needs and intentions for a ceremony prior to the work of designing personalized ceremony.

My joy in the world is shaped by a discovery I made in my early 20s, that dance is a therapeutic practice for me, inviting embodied expression and healing. InterPlay and Ensoulment coaching, flanked by myincorporation of Traditional and Classical Chinese Medicine, provide me the tools to invite clients into their own body wisdom. This is especially true around life transitions and stressors that could otherwise overwhelm; however, with these resources, clients are able to find increased ease, joy, and delight, even in hard times.

Please email, text, or call to set up a 20 minute consult to explore how my work might be of support to you. I will always do my best reply with 1 business day.

If you are curious to read more about the journey that brought me to this moment, please read on:

After college, I allowed myself time and opportunities to explore a variety of topics and places, including:
>Philosophy
>Ireland–history, archeology, and spirit of the land
>Celtic Spirituality
>Economics, especially progressive, alternative economics
>Sedona, AZ–spirit of the land and its vortex intensity
>Extensive road cycling
>And VW bus living,

I headed to Berkeley, CA in 2000 to embark on Master of Divinity (MDiv) studies at Pacific School of Religion (PSR). Practically upon arrival, I learned about InterPlay and immediately knew that I made the right choice heading to Berkeley! At PSR, I studied such topics as:
>creative and liturgical dance,
>drama and visual arts in worship,
>pastoral care,
>theology and church history,
>environmental ethics,
and graduated with Masters degree in 2003.

During the course of my MDiv studies, I participated in the InterPlay Leadership training program, developing an ever deepening relationship to the importance of embodied ways of knowing and play! I also became a certified massage therapist 500+ hours of bodywork training at the McKinnon Institute in Oakland, CA.

In 2005, I began studying and working with Tui Na and Acupressure at the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, transforming my work from predominantly western informed to Traditional Chinese Medicine informed and centered. Much of my Tui Na continuing education has been taught by Bill Helm with a focus on applying rolling style Tui Na to addressing orthopedic and internal organ disharmonies.

From about 2003-2005 I enjoyed collaborating as part of the Techno Cosmic Mass (developed by Matthew Fox) production team. In this role, I helped facilitate inspiring, grounded, and aesthetically delightful experiences for attendees, through stage and lighting set-up, four-direction slide show production, and light board operations!

Fast forward to 2007, when my husband and I were married. We took a journey to Greece, where we explored sites influenced by the Greek goddess Artemis as well as a vast array of archeological sites in the country, including Delos, Attica at Brauron, Vergina, and Meteora! In the following years, we became parents to two wonderful children, both of whom help me develop a deep appreciation for the intersection of allopathic and holistic wellness care.

As part of my parenting journey, I am mom to a child with particularly unique and dynamic needs. She teaches me the value of advocating, a skill I am constantly striving to refine as we engage in a variety of settings, including medical, educational, and community! Additionally, I love preparing creatively healthy foods and look forward to the gardening season each year. (I am currently growing produce and culinary herbs in 10 raised beds!)

The journey, thus far, teaches me the value of resilience, commitment, community, joy, affirmation, human-to-human connection, grounding through spirit & soul, dancing, laughter, and creative expression, and so much more!

I look forward to connecting and learning how I can support you in living your best life!
